APP HIGHLIGHTS

It’s easy to miss product updates from your favorite marketing company. Here are three top ones from the past week.

New Onsite Tracking for Shopify

Hopefully you have onsite tracking enabled if you (Or your client) are on Shopify. In addition to the “Active on Site”, “Viewed Product” and “Added to Cart” events, this snippet will now also follow “Viewed Collection” and “Submitted Search” events.

You can use this information to continue segmenting various intent levels of potential customers. A particularly effective segment I’m a fan of is the “Window Shoppers” segment.

> Active on Site over X days AND Placed Order 0 times over X days AND can receive marketing.

You can further drill-down on the intent of this segment by adding “Submitted Search” or you can personalise communication further by adding “Viewed Collection" event filters.

In-email review collection!

If you’re using Klaviyo Reviews, you can now collect reviews directly within the email rather than having to direct customers to a secondary review collection page.

There are some third party apps out there that already do this and support a wider array of review apps, however if you’re on Klaviyo Reviews, this is an absolute no-brainer to implement in your product review flows.

Limitations:

  • If you have required custom questions, submitting the in-email review form will redirect reviewers to a new tab where they must complete the custom questions to submit their review. Partial review submissions will not be stored.

  • This functionality relies on the HTML <form> element, which is not supported by all inbox providers. If a recipient opens your review request email in an inbox that doesn’t support the form element, they will see a link to submit a review instead.

Sign-up Counter Block 🔢

You can now leverage social proof to create urgency and drive subscriptions with the new Sign-Up Counter block in the forms builder when creating your form.

This feature lets you display real-time submission counts on your forms to boost conversions and accelerate list growth.
The timing of this feature is perfect, considering the upcoming BFCM period. I highly recommend enabling this feature for VIP list submissions leading up to BFCM to drive higher sign-ups through social proof.

That’s all, folks.

BFCM is fast approaching, and I hope you are preparing accordingly. Given the macro outlook, the time of year BFCM falls this year, and shifting consumer behaviour, I expect a very different BFCM period this year.

I will aim to share BFCM-related content in the following weeks.

I hope that you have enjoyed reading and have found it helpful. As always, if you would like to have a no-obligation discovery chat with our team of Klaviyo specialists, you can reach out to us at hello@atlasstudios.agency
